WAS 9th Annual ArtFest Call to Artists

 

With your help and support our WAS 9th Annual Art Fest   will be a fantastic event for  our artists, community, and visitors from around the world. 

Now is the time to participate in making  Art Fest on the Green 2015 our best show ever.

 

WAS Artists and Artists from all over Florida and many other states are submitting their Art Fest Applications.

The crowd pleasing, award-winning artwork is exciting,original ,and shows a high level of mastery and excellence in many mediums. 

 

Here’s how you can help make Art Fest a wonderful success:

 

 -Submit your application now- This is your Show and time to SHINE . $2000.00 in prizes!  Member applications attached

 

- Share this opportunity with artists you admire; Non –member applications attached or online 

 

- Post  Art Fest  info on your website, Facebook and  other social media   Art Fest Flyer attached

 

- Sell Booklet ads -ask your daily/weekly contacts ( i.e. nail/hair salon/ spa/local small businesses) to place an ad in the booklet- 

                               Place your ad in the booklet, too. Booklet Ad Form attached

 

- Sell Sponsorships-  Entertainment, Children’s art area, other- Contact Leslie to meet with you and  potential Sponsors 

 

-  Volunteer -  help with Event planning, set-up, Welcome Tent  - event  planning meetings will be announced

If you are looking for something a little extra to do....the Norton Museum Store is looking for a few good volunteers!! 

January - April is a very busy season at the Norton Museum!

It is a beautiful museum with fabulous art and nice people!  A wonderful environment for an artist!

The museum store has items ranging from $1 - $8,000.  Some benefits to volunteering in the store: working with nice people, lovely merchandise, a beautiful museum, you get to see spectacular art and help your local museum.

Here are a few details:

--To volunteer you must be a Norton Museum member.

--Volunteer shifts available are January - April, 1:30-5pm,  Tuesday-Sunday (museum closed Mondays).  Most volunteers do one, 3 1/2hr shift, same day, every week.

--Retail experience helpful.  Must like working with people.

--Computer knowledge essential to operate cash register.

--Must have a good energy level & be mobile.

--Must be committed to your 'shift'.  Store personnel would count on you.

At Our Holiday Party & Meeting

Dec. 10th, Wed. 6:00pm 

Wellington Community Center

We'll have food & refreshments at 6:00, followed by our meeting!! Resource Depot will present an art demonstration.  They'll show us various ideas, materials & stages of construction,  of how they create art from re-used & re-purposed materials.  In the spirit of the Holidays, lets have another of our fabulous raffles!! If you have an art item you'd like to donate, call or email Donna Donelan. Just a reminder...there are still openings for Art Fest!
