Wellington City Hall Artists Reception, Show and Sale

The Wellington Art Society will be hosting an Artists Reception and member wide end of season show and sale at Wellington City Hall. 

THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! 

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 25 from 5-6:45 PM to celebrate the newly installed Wellington City Hall show titled “Spring into Summer”. Refreshments will be served and there will be a raffle drawing. Everyone who attends will receive a raffle ticket! Come and join in the fun, invite your friends and neighbors.

Wellington Art Society on PBS!


I am writing with exciting news. The Wellington Art Society is going to be highlighted on television!!! I was interviewed  as President of the Wellington Art Society for the Wellington episode on the local PBS channel of Around the Corner in the Palm Beaches. And not only that but one of our amazing artists Sandra Harmon was also featured with a Plein Air demo. On WPBT - Sunday, 3/19 at 12:30pm  Monday, 3/20 at 10:30pm and Tuesday, 3/28 at 3:30am. And on WXEL - Saturday, 3/18 at 6:30pm  Thursday, 3/23 at 8pm and Wednesday, 3/29 at 5pm. Make sure to set your DVRs!!!

The Breeze
The Wellington Art Society in conjunction with Whole Foods Market Wellington will hold a reception in their CafĂ© Gallery for Featured Artist, Andrew Hollimon (Ana’alu) on February 17, 2017.  Whole Foods Market Cafe at 2635 State Road 7 in Wellington will provide delicious appetizers, wine and live music. In addition, there will be special door prizes.

Andy Hollimon is a self taught artist who grew up in the Mid-West and refers to himself as a painter who develops pieces of art rather than an artist. Following high school he served in the military then graduated with an MBA and worked 38 years in Human Resources Management for Fortune 250 Corporations. He also taught college level Business Administration at Stevens – The Institute of Business and Arts for seven years, serving as Business Administration Chair for two years.

The Wellington Art Society requests a $5 per person donation to go toward their Scholarship Fund. His paintings will be on exhibit through March. Combining art food, wine and music is a wonderful way to begin your weekend!
