Artists at the Whitney

On Wednesday, March 28, 2012, The Whitney Condominium Association in West Palm Beach held its first annual Whitney Art Walk. The event took place in the 400 block of Evernia Street between South Dixie Highway and Quadrille Avenue from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

Local artists exhibited two-dimensional works, such as paintings, prints and photography, on a small to medium scale, or self-standing sculptures. Three of our members displayed their art.

Adrianne Hetherington showed her hand painted silk scarves and demonstrated her techniques for passersby. Adrianne has a new website where you can see all of her art.

Ilene Adams brought quite a few 12"x12" art pieces. Many were mixed media, and contained paint, paper, and raised stenciling.

Norman Gitzen brought his sculptures, including his famous "Siren."
