Jerry's Artarama is a great art supply store right here in West Palm Beach. Over a year ago, they moved to this new location at 2505Q Okeechobee Blvd. in the Westward Shopping Center. They have canvas, they have paint, pastels, pencils, and thousands of other art supplies. And, the most important thing, their employees are experts and can answer your trickiest questions. Recently they invited the members of the Wellington Art Society to come in after hours and shop with a nice discount. We love how they support our artists, and many of us took advantage of the evening. Here is store manager Margot Weissman showing off the goodies they had for us that night to Kathy Morlock.
It was fun to have the store to ourselves while we shopped. Quite a few of us stocked up on art supplies. Here's Sandra Barbieri loading up her cart. She's challenging herself to paint with acrylics for the hospital project. Jerry's donated canvases to us so we can donate paintings to the Children's Hospital at Palms West. You can see a sneak preview of some of them here.
Arlene Brand, Geoff Wilson, and Jean Talbott enjoyed picking out a few favorite items.
Linda Rovolis purchased a few canvases to try a new painting technique.
Sharon Segal and Leslie Pfeiffer discussed canvases and boards.
Donna Donelan and Joanne Knoetgen did their best to fill their shopping cart.
Thank you to Jerry's Artarama for supporting our members, answering our questions, and carrying such a variety of art supplies.
